denver, carpets, and a southwest airlines credit card.

welp, here i am, still alive and kicking in the old west. i have been in denver two weeks and a few days and things are FINALLY falling into place. sort of.

I got a job cleaning carpets which is nice. I mentioned it before but now that i have trained and start on my own tomorrow im really excited. should be fun, and most of my pay s guaranteed, but i can always sell a little more per job and try to make all the driving im going to be doing worthwhile. the only bummer is i have to drive me own car, so gas might be an issue, but for now im just excited t be working, moneys getting a little.. interesting.

the cool thing is thanks to a loan from a private lender, ill be able to start school. only one class, but i think it will be a good transition back into school for the coming years to be a student again. so thats cool... what else...

oh yeah, i applied for a credit card today. i feel like a grown up. its terrible.

oh and on the jesus side. i still dont know how my "ministry" in every day life will be. maybe to the strangers i meet every day... maybe my co-workers, but i wont see them a lot. that should be fun to find out in the coming weeks. oh also, i have been studying Thessalonians the last few days, especially the second one. Paul is pretty intensely talking about the second coming and what that may or may not look like and telling the people not to get swept up by any ministry or prophesy or teacher but to rely on the word which is our guide. and many of us would say no doy. but. when i was praying about it i realized how many people get sucked in by movements and preachers and mega churches that they really arent connected to the church, not the building, the organism. the body of believers centered around the living Word of God. So thinking about this i realized i want to make people fall in love with the WORD, not an idea, not a church, definitely not me.

so like i talk about with josh, how do i feed HIS sheep and effectively point the sheep to the real shepherd, not the temporary one? And do this in my everyday life in seminary and my job as a carpet cleaner? Im sure it will come together, it always does. just kinda neat to think how God uses all things for His purpose. So i hope anyone who reads this finds themselves drawn back to the word today, and if you got nothing else to read, 2 Thessalonians. its fun.
